Maria Hinojosa

Maria Hinojosa is an award-winning journalist who covers America’s untold stories and highlights today’s critical issues. The Futuro Media Group, her independent media non-profit, produces multimedia journalism exploring and giving a critical voice to the diversity of the American experience. Via the Peabody Award winning radio show Latino USA, distributed by NPR, and the PBS television series America By The Numbers with Maria Hinojosa, she has informed millions about the changing cultural and political landscape in America and abroad. In addition to the Peabody, her many honors include four Emmys and the 2012 John Chancellor Award for Excellence in Journalism.  Updated 2012
