Film and theater actor Sara Ramirez was born in 1975 in Mazatlan, Mexico. Best known for her role as Dr. Callie Torres on the popular television hospital drama, Grey’s Anatomy, she has also appeared in films including You’ve Got Mail and Spiderman. She has won numerous awards for her stage work, including the 2005 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in the Broadway show Spamalot. Updated 2014
