Kofi Appenteng

Kofi Appenteng immigrated to the U.S. in 1977 and earned his law degree from Columbia University School of Law. As a partner at the firm of Thacher Proffitt and Wood, Appenteng had a general corporate practice and was a member of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Practice Group. In his current roles as a partner of the West Africa Fund chair of the Africa-America Institute, the International Center for Transitional Justice, and member of the Ford Foundation Board of Trustees, Appenteng has been active in the cause of advancing human welfare and opportunity in Africa and around the world. He is also the head of the investment firm Constant Capital’s Ghana operations. Updated 2013
