Program Analyst, Strengthening U.S. Democracy

Aranza Caballero is a program analyst in the Strengthening U.S Democracy program, reporting to Geri Mannion. Caballero manages grantmaking and supports initiatives advancing immigration, civic learning, voting rights, and community service. She previously worked with Amnesty International, Fundación Convivir in Buenos Aires, the Comisión Ejecutiva de Atención a Víctimas in Mexico City, and Physicians for Human Rights, focusing on research, advocacy, and legal support for vulnerable communities.

Caballero holds an MA in human rights studies from Columbia University, where her research examined the impact of healthcare policies on immigrant communities. She also earned a BA in history and science from Harvard University, with a secondary concentration in ethnicity, migration, and rights and a certificate in Latin American studies. At Harvard, she served as business director for the Harvard Association Cultivating Inter-American Democracy and as executive director for the Latina Empowerment and Development Conference.
