Anna Khandros is a program officer in the International Program, where she primarily manages work on peace, conflict, and non-state actors grants.
Khandros previously oversaw humanitarian programs and supported local partners in Ukraine, Iraq, and Laos with the Danish Refugee Council and Catholic Relief Services. Earlier, she conducted research on Ukrainian policies toward occupied territories and reintegration at Georgetown University’s Institute for the Study of Diplomacy and on access to basic services among displaced populations in the Middle East at the World Bank.
Khandros served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco and was a Fulbright grantee in Tajikistan.
She holds a master’s degree in global human development from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in politics, with a minor in peace and conflict studies, from Brandeis University.
