Arielle Gallegos is a program analyst in Carnegie’s Education program. Prior to joining the foundation, Gallegos was the manager of league affairs at the New York City Urban Debate League, where she managed events, partnered with school and district leaders to expand debate opportunities, and led volunteer and partnership initiatives, including collaborations with law firms to engage legal professionals as debate judges.

She began her career as a social studies teacher at Marion P. Thomas Charter School in Newark, New Jersey, as a Teach for America corps member.

Arielle received her MA in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and her BA in anthropology and international studies from the City College of New York.
