Young Invincibles (YI), a national, nonpartisan research and advocacy organization, is focused onfour key policy areas across their federal and state policy work: healthcare,higher education, workforce, and civic engagement. The COVID pandemic elevated student debt as an urgent economic consideration. 45 million Americans have student loan debt, and those between the ages of 25-to-34 are the most affected. More than 9 million student loan borrowers are likely eligible formeaningful debt relief under proposed or existing government plans. They willnecessitate accurate, trustworthy, consumer-friendly resources and outreach tohave the information and support to cancel or reduce their debt. WithCorporation support, YI staff will lead these efforts via peer-to-peereducation, community and coalition coordination, and strategic digital communications.
