Young Invincibles(YI), a national, nonpartisan research and advocacy organization, is focused onfour key policy areas across their federal and state policy work: healthcare,higher education, workforce, and civic engagement. The COVID pandemic elevatedstudent debt as an urgent economic consideration. 45million Americanshave student loan debt, and those between the ages of 25-to-34 are the mostaffected. More than 9 million student loan borrowers are likely eligible formeaningful debt relief under proposed or existing government plans. They willnecessitate accurate, trustworthy, consumer-friendly resources and outreach tohave the information and support to cancel or reduce their debt. WithCorporation support, YI staff will lead these efforts via peer-to-peereducation, community and coalition coordination, and strategic digitalcommunications.
