Description
The Sussex Harvard Information Bank (SHIB) is one of thelargest open-source archives on chemical and biological weapons. Given the strategicimplications ofthis topic and the prevalence of misinformationanddisinformation,reliable sources ofinformation arecritical. However, the current paper-based nature ofSHIB limits its sustainability andutility for a wider audience. Aproject at the University of Sussexwill digitize key materials from SHIB co-director Julian Perry Robinson’s collectionto make them publicly accessible and ensure their long-term preservation. This grant complements the digitization of a collection of key documents and recollections related to major developments regarding biological weapons nonproliferation, also funded by the Corporation.
