Established in2003in partnership with Rhodes Trust,the MandelaRhodes Foundation (MRF)is a legacyorganizationof Nelson Mandela thatseeksto foster the next generation of African leadersbyprovidingfull support for Africans with undergraduate degrees under the age of thirty topursueapostgraduatedegree at a university in South Africaand providesin-residenceleadership training. Todate,622scholars from33countriesand across 35 disciplines havebenefitedfrom the program, with 93 percentof alumniremainingon the continent. The aim istodevelopinnovative,competent, and ethical leaders in their fields, with skills to bring about transformative, positive changes in their institutions, communities, andcountries. To honorMRF’s 20th anniversary, Corporation support will provide twentyscholarships over two years, with the inclusion of leadership developmentsupport.
