Duration

Description

Businesses in nearly every sector of the United States economy are affected by today’s immigration policy debates. Immigrants fill critical labor gaps in major industries—including healthcare, information technology, research, and agriculture, among others—and they make critical financial contributions to American communities in dire need of investment. Fiscally sponsored by the Chicago Community Trust, the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) represents a growing and diverse set of businesses and business associations that are promoting pro-immigrant policies at all levels of government. With Corporation support, ABIC will continue to grow its formidable network of business leaders, and effectively engage and educate policymakers about the importance of advancing a pro-immigrant agenda that strengthens communities and the national economy.
