Description
The SERP Institute was incubated at the National Academy of Sciences and founded as an independent nonprofit organization in 2003 to bridge the worlds of education research, practice, and design. Central to all SERP work is a commitment to equity, collaboration, and the agency of teachers and students. Over the past two decades SERP has released more than a dozen open education resources developed collaboratively in research-practice-design partnerships, and made available to school districts, schools, and teachers nationwide. Corporation support will go towards a one-day event on the 20th anniversary of SERPs founding that will showcase their work and key features of the partnership model.
