Reset Dialoguesis an American non-profit organization founded in 2009 to promote cultural and religious pluralism, the rule of law, and human rights. They aimto strengthen deliberative democracy and civil discourse in an era of extreme political polarization by facilitating high-level dialogue and cultivating a network of academics and policy professionals across borders. With Corporation support, they will launcha two-day seminar in May 2026 entitled,Universities, Elites, and the Future of Liberal Democracy, bringing togetherleading scholars, institutional leaders, and public intellectuals toaddress thegrowing crisis in higher education andprovidea neutral, international forum for high-level analysis and collaboration.

Dedicated to promoting cross-cultural knowledge and understanding, Reset Dialogues provides a platform for leading public intellectuals to critique intolerant trends of ethnic nationalism, racism, religious fanaticism, and radicalism. It does so through research, seminars and publications in the social sciences and humanities and under the stewardship of its international scientific committee composed of scholars and thought-leaders with diverse cultural, religious and linguistic backgrounds. Reset Dialogues seminars and forums include the Venice Seminars International Forum and Summer School, the Casablanca School for Pluralism, Reset Dialogues on Illiberal Trends, and the Intercultural Lexicon. Corporation funds will support the expansion of activities in the United States and operations of the organization spanning several programmatic areas.

The organization has an international scientific committee composed by scholars and thought leaders with diverse cultural, religious and linguistic backgrounds. Reset Dialogues hosts a series of seminars including the Istanbul Seminars, State and Political Culture in Contemporary Russia, and Genealogies of Pluralism and Exclusivism in the Islamic World. Carnegie funds will primarily support the Mediterranean Euro-Arab Forum of the Humanities, including expanded work in Morocco.
