The Paris Peace Forum (PPF)aimsto foster effective international cooperation through multistakeholder dialogue and action for the advancement of peace. Since 2018,PFF hasgathered over 25,000 participants from more than 175 countries, growinginto a multilateral platform convening of heads of state, development banks, and civil society organizations. Their main function of providing an independentplatformfor dialogue allows for solution-oriented action outside of traditional diplomacy, enabling private and public actors to freely addresscurrent issues.At thisyear’s conference, PPF will elevate ten initiatives to be presented to a global audience with the possibility of further funding. PPF’s work, through conferences, policy incubation, and dialogue platforms,aligns the Forum’s work with the Corporation’s goals of creating sustained solutions to peace.

Each November, the Paris Peace Forum convenes heads of state and government, local and national elected representatives, regional and international institutions, and civil society organizations. Through discussions and public events, they highlight innovative and public-private “hybrid” measures to building peace, strengthening multilateralism, and advancing sustainable development goals. The third annual Forum will focus on responses to the COVID-19pandemic, includingglobal health governance and healtharchitectures in developing countries, more resilient societies andeconomic systems, andtheusage of data and social media in fighting pandemics. Beginning in 2018 with the centennial of the end of World War I, the government of France launched a series of international forums to promote new methods of reducing international tensions. Each November, the Paris Peace Forum convenes heads of state and government, local and national elected representatives, regional and international organizations, and civil society organizations to promote innovative and public-private “hybrid” measures to build peace, strengthen multilateralism, and advance implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The second annual Forum will focus on solutions in five key areas: Peace and security, environment, development, new technologies, inclusive economies, and culture and education. As in 2018, Corporation funds will contribute to the Forum’s core operations.
