Description
Founded in 1922, the mission of the New Jersey Symphony is to connect with the people and diverse communities of NJ through the power of live symphonic music to inspire, entertain and educate. It is the largest performing arts organization in New Jersey. It offers mainstage concert programs, and the Symphony provides chamber music performances within community settings, family and education programs that offer vital arts experiences for younger patrons. Each year the Symphony’s programming reaches more than 140,000 residents, including as many as 60,000 young people, families and community members, along with a broader reach of audience members through its unique virtual content and social media networks. Corporation support will provide the New Jersey Symphony’s Education and Community Engagement (ECE) programs additional opportunities to nurture young minds, inspire creativity and promote meaningful, lifelong engagement with live orchestral music.
