Description
Current events are testing the international system’s capacity to address pressing issues. In particular, larger and wealthier states are often able to control the agenda at the expense of smaller states and non-governmental actors. Independent Diplomat (ID) is a non-profit diplomatic advisory group that strives to create more inclusive, just, effective, and lasting peace processes by building the diplomatic capacity of marginalized groups and resource- and capacity-strapped democratic governments. ID delivers advice and assistance to political groups, NGOs, and governments on issues related to political strategy, international law, and public diplomacy. Corporation support ensures ongoing engagement with those representing the most-affected by conflict and crises.
