Programs

Excellence in Postgraduate Training, Research and Retention

Developing the next cohort of African academics and education leaders requires public/private partnerships striving to provide opportunities for academics to enter the field, advance their expertise, sustain their involvement with the higher education sector and promote higher education policy reforms. Excellence in Postgraduate Research, Training and Retention aims to:

• Strengthen M.A. and Ph.D. programs in key universities in South Africa, Ghana, and Uganda, including improving access to information and resources.

• Foster disciplinary networks and fellowships for academics across sub-Saharan Africa.

• Advance university and academic leadership and policies in South Africa, Ghana, and Uganda.
