In 2020, one in three students in the U.S. attended a new public school created during the last three decades. The report New Schools in the United States: A Quantitative Review of Public Schools Opened During the Last Three Decades provides a quantitative review of the number, geographic distribution, and characteristics of these new public schools, providing insights into the United States’ complex and dynamic education system.
