This report presents the findings of a survey of lower-income parents during the COVID-19 pandemic, primary among them how digital inequality continues to affect these families and their children. It details what these parents feel they have learned from remote learning, from increased confidence in their ability to help their child with schoolwork to greater comfort communicating with teachers and developing a deeper understanding of their child’s learning patterns. It also looks ahead to the next school year with parents focusing on the social and emotional needs of their children as they transition to in-person learning in fall 2021.
