Yibin Kang, the Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis Professor of Molecular Biology at Princeton University and a member of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey has uncovered important insights into the process of cancer metastasis, identifying key molecules that allow tumor cells to spread to distant organs. With a graduate degree from Duke University, Kang previously worked at the Sloan-Kettering Institute, where he conducted innovative research into the spread of breast cancer. He won the 2011 Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Biomedical Science and the American Association for Cancer Research Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cancer Research in 2012. Updated 2012
