Wallace Loh is the 33rd president of the University of Maryland. With a PhD in psychology from the University of Michigan, and a JD from Yale University, Loh served previously as provost and executive vice president at the University of Iowa. He also served as a policy director for then Washington state Governor Gary Locke. In that position, Loh formed and staffed Locke’s 2020 Commission on the Future of Post-Security Education, which expanded access to higher education for students from low- and middle-income families.
