Comedian, actress, and singer Tracey Ullman began her career as a teenager on stage eventually winning the London Theatre Critics Award. She began appearing on British television shows and in 1987 released the album You Broke My Heart in Seventeen Places. In the U.S. she starred in The Tracey Ullman Show, winning five Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe Award for best actress in 1988, and spawning The Simpsons. She has since appeared in numerous films and starred in several television shows, such as Tracey Takes and Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union. Updated 2012
