General Stanley Gorenc is Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe and U.S. Air Forces Africa, responsible for Air Force activities in 105 countries as well as the Arctic and Atlantic oceans. He has commanded a fighter squadron, an operations group two wings, the Air Force District Washington, and a component Numbered Air Force. He previously served as the Air Staff's assistant vice chief of staff and director, in Washington, D.C. Updated 2009
