The son of Holocaust survivors, Joseph Neubauer immigrated to the U.S. in 1956 and went on to become Chairman and CEO of Aramark. A provider of professional services in food, facilities management, and uniforms, the company was recognized as one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune magazine in 2013. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He received the 2012 Philadelphia Award for his civic involvement with positions including the chair for Philadelphia Orchestral Association, trustee for Tufts University, and member of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
