Earning a PhD in biochemistry from Rice University, Joe Wong went on to become a successful scientist at the pharmaceutical company Aventis. In the evenings, however, Wong pursued his dream of comedy, taking classes and working on his routine in local clubs. In 2009, he appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, and has since performed regularly on major talk shows. More recently, he headlined the Radio and TV Correspondents’ Dinner, in which he roasted Vice President Joe Biden. Updated 2014
