Jennifer Anne Richeson is the Philip R. Allen Professor of Psychology and director of the Social Perception and Communication Lab at Yale University. Her research examines the social psychology of intergroup relations, particularly how people reason about and respond to inequality and injustice. Through this work, Dr. Richeson hopes to identify ways to create environments that are both cohesive and culturally diverse. Dr. Richeson has published articles in many scholarly journals as well as The Economist and the New York Times. She received a John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Fellowship in 2006.
