Ioannis (Yannis) Miaoulis is the president and director of Boston’s Museum of Science, where he works to realize his dream of making all men and women scientifically and technologically literate. Among his achievements, Miaoulis led creation of the National Center for Technological Literacy, bolstered the museum’s financial position, and helped lead the formation of the Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network of science museums and research institutions. He previously served at Tufts University as a dean, associate provost, and professor of mechanical engineering. Updated 2014
