Howard Chua-Eoan is a former news director of TIME magazine. He has also served as assistant managing editor and a writer, covering major stories including the death of Princess Diana and the Tiananmen Square massacre. He won the National Council on Crime and Delinquency PASS Award for his cover story on "The Gun in America" in 1997. He has also worked as People magazine’s front-of-the-book editor. Updated 2009
