Hector Ruiz is a founder and the current chairman of Advanced Nanotechnology Solutions. He began his work in technology at Texas Instruments, then spent 22 years at Motorola, where he served as president of the company’s Semiconductor Products Sector. In 2000 he became president and CEO of AMD and spun out its manufacturing assets to form GlobalFoundries, the first global semiconductor manufacturing company.
