Hans Tung is a managing partner at GGV Capital, a venture capital firm focusing on consumer Internet, e-commerce, and IoT investments across China and the U.S. with $3.8 billion under management. Tung has invested in 14 private companies with valuations greater than $400 million and has been ranked by Forbes Midas List as one of the world’s top venture capitalists six times from 2013 to 2018, most recently ranking number 20 in the world. Prior to joining GGV Capital, Tung was an investor at Qiming Venture Partners in China and Bessemer Venture Partners in the U.S. He was a founding member of two pan-Asian internet startups and co-hosts the 996 Podcast, which focuses on tech and entrepreneurship in China.
