Soccer player Freddy Adu's talent shown an early age when, as a child in Ghana, he played pickup game. By the age of 10, he was named the most valuable player in an under-14 tournament held in Italy. At 14, he signed a deal with Major League Soccer and was drafted by D.C. United, becoming the youngest player ever to play a major league game. He has since played internationally as well as in the World Cup and the Olympics, continuing to develop as a player. Updated 2008
