Two years after a chance meeting with Jim Henson at a puppeteering conference, teenaged Frank Oz was invited to join the Muppets team. After finding phenomenal success with the children's program Sesame Street, Oz worked with Henson on the Muppet Show, playing the parts of Miss Piggy, Animal, Fozzie Bear, and others. Later striking out on his own, he worked in films such as the Star Wars series and directed films including Little Shop of Horrors and The Stepford Wives. Updated 2010
