Elizabeth Blackburn, the Morris Herzstein Professor in Biology and Physiology at the University of California, San Francisco, is a renowned researcher who has conducted groundbreaking work on DNA and cell division. She was previously a faculty member at the University of California at Berkeley, in the Department of Molecular Biology, and holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
