Dumarsais Simeus is an entrepreneur and philanthropist best known for Simeus Foods International, one of the largest black-owned food-product concerns in the U.S. Starting his career as an electrical design engineer Simeus earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and turned to management, working for companies such as Atari and Hartz Pet Food. He currently operates a Haitian charity called Organisation (Saving Lives) with his wife, and is active in Chiapas International, a nonprofit that engages in microfinance in Latin America.
