Rex Kim serves as manager of data strategy and governance for Carnegie Corporation of New York.
In this role, he is responsible for leading strategic data initiatives to facilitate data-informed grantmaking and promoting a data and analytics culture at the Corporation by connecting its grantmaking and operational practices through collaborative data strategy and governance efforts.
Prior to joining the Corporation, Kim led the information technology function at Organic Avenue, where he oversaw all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure and operations. Previously, he worked as an MIS manager and reporting analyst at Shine Electronics in New York.
Kim holds a BA in computer science from Hunter College and earned an MBA from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
