Andrew Geraghty is a program officer with the Corporation’s Democracy program. He manages the program’s alliance-building and strategic communications portfolios, identifying new opportunities to expand and amplify the voices of business, law enforcement, and faith leaders in the immigration debate. Geraghty also supports the program’s civic engagement work, which invests in integrated voter engagement strategies to increase the participation of traditionally underrepresented groups in the civic process. Within this portfolio, Geraghty also manages the program’s adult civic education work.
Geraghty has extensive experience working with funders and nonprofits on a range of public policy issues. He came to the Corporation from the JEHT Foundation where he supported the international justice and fair and participatory elections programs. He holds an MS in journalism from Columbia University and a BA from Skidmore College, majoring in government with a minor in law and society.
