– is being offered to African researchers in an effort to

Read press
release.
Aimed
at advanced students of biology and medicine plus young faculty
from African universities, the course, convened by Carnegie Corporation
grantee the American Society for
Cell Biology (ASCB), will introduce new perspectives and new
technologies to emerging research institutions in sub-Saharan Africa.
The
course complements the foundation’s efforts to find innovative
approaches to strengthening Africa’s institutions of higher
education often by linking them to other research institutions in
Africa as well as overseas.
